The Winter Park Sidewalk Art Festival takes place in March each year and an official poster marks the occasion. It is an exquisite experience with artists set up along the brick streets of Park Avenue and in the grassy park. We always attended.
I found the 1980 poster shown here at a garage sale for a quarter or so. It has a bit of a deco look which I love, and a pink frame that I planned to paint one day.
This vintage poster hangs over the bed in a guest room I just redecorated. There is no pink in our home, but the memories of our great life in Winter Park deserve a great color, and it stays for now.

The poster was a great find! Naples isn't too far from Winter Park - hopefully one day our paths will cross.

I may not be familiar with the festival (seeing I live from another country :-) ) But I think I understand the feeling of owning such a find. SOmething that you have participated for years and then finding something that has represented/made you remember of such an event through all these years.

Love the pink frame for you fun poster! I'm not participating in PS today, as I am at the hospital with my Mom. She is not doing well, and won't be with us much longer. She will be pain-free and walking with the Lord very soon. I will miss her terribly, but know that we will be together again someday!
