We are walking daily, a continuation of my self-improvement project started in New Orleans.
I am so happy to have pictures from our weekend outings so I can participate today.
These are iphone shots. Next time I will be sure to take a real camera.
This is one of the most famous views in the village.
The polo fields are visible from the trail. It appears the fires in nearby Quebec sent some smoky haze our way. You can see it hanging over the mountains on Sunday.
A family is flying kites on the edge of the polo field.
A quiet stream meanders close by our path.
Benches and tables along the way offer a place to reflect or picnic.
Natural meadows pop up amidst the woods with mountain views all around.
A covered walkway takes us back to the village.
A peek back before stopping.

Pretty good photos from a phone! Glad you are walking! It's nice to stroll with you!
The photos may be from a phone, but they turned out looking just like paintings! Really beautiful scenery.

Hi Sweet Girl~
I am catching up on my Blog visiting since I am still stuck indoors recovering from this nasty pneumonia. I loved going for a virtual walk with you!

WOW those are spectacular pictures....so scenic and peaceful looking. Thanks for popping over, I enjoyed the same:)
Hi Nancy! Oh, what a lovely place to stroll and walk. The scenery is just so gorgeous. I walk my little dog at night around the neighbors trying to peep inside the houses when the curtains are open! :)
Be a sweetie,
Shelia :)
Nancy, I do love that picture of the stream. I will have to read more about your vermont..our daughter is going to college up there.
What a lovely place to spend a weekend. You did an excellent job on your photos with your phone. You do better with it than I do with a camera. Enjoyed the tour very much.
Hi Nancy!
Your photos are wonderful! It looks so quiet and peaceful there. You must enjoy your walks very much. I remember being so excited to find a covered bridge the first trip I made to New England as a newlwed, many years ago!

Merci for a GORGEOUS walk!!!
Hi Nancy,
Lovely photos...especially that ice cream!! :0)
I don't have an Outdoor Wednesday post up this week but I've been meaning to visit you to catch up on all that you've got going on...sounds like you've been very busy...And yes, I can tell that Mark is a fun kind of guy! :0) I so hope your Vermont home sells quickly!!!
I always loved walking the French Quarter..so many lovely boutiques...of course, that was 2 decades ago! Much has changed since Hurricane Katrina...oh, and the Garden District was always such a delight to drive to admire the restored historic homes.
Stop by when you have a moment..my last post was Saturday for the big PS 2nd birthday celebration.
Hugs,
Stephanie ♥
Those pictures are really good even taken with an ipod. The places look so peaceful.
What a gorgeous day you had for your walk, and such beautiful scenery!
Awesome photos and great incentive to get out and about! I miss the covered bridges in Georgia when I lived there.

Really lovely! I bet not as humid as we are here in the South!! Thanks for sharing!
Hugs, Lisa
