We are relocating to the Silicon Valley, South Bay, San Francisco area, California…here I come! What better place to fulfill the dream of returning to a mid-century modern ranch style home. So, I’ve been doing some research. Here’s the kitchen I would like to find. The first picture is my personal fave and the rest have a bit of country style woven into the modern.
If you love MCM as much as I do, click on any picture to go to Mid Century Home Style. And, if you have any tips for a move to the area around the intersection of 101/237, I’d love them. (I’m thinking Mountain View and an Eichler for those in the know.)

SOOO... glad things are moving forward on the move. Personally, I really enjoy pic. 2 the best. Give or take a few details. I imagine it wont be quite so easy to find a kitchen such as these today. Best of luck!

Hi Nancy,congrats on coming back to CA...woot! I know how that feels..we lived out of state for only 4 years and I was so happy to get back here last June..I say a meet n greet is a plan after you settle in..do you have a move date yet? Oh and I love the MCM homes too..hard to find..I know there are some near Sacramento but also have to be some where you are looking..I love kitchen #2, so traditional..the older I get, the more I want tradition..

I love, love MCM! I'm soooooo tickled PINK for you concerning this relocation..I lived in San Diego for several years back in the late 80's..I was never the same after leaving that wonderful climate and the fabulous shopping!
I hope you'll stop by..I've finally finished my studio after almost a year of transforming, unpacking, building tables..on and on...
I'll be watching for your housing updates.. will the company put you up somewhere to take some time to find a home??
