While I was in Louisiana for a month, my husband was working in Taiwan. He took these pink pictures for us. Wasn’t that sweet?
So “Hello Kitty”!
LV is my featured Pink Saturday participant. I always love visiting her blog and reading the stories. Last week, a comment she left on another blog, reminded me how much she has to tell us:
I am old country girl from way back. We never planted soy or had machinery. Just hard work with our hands and mules.
It’s good to remember this was not so long ago. I so hope I have stories of interest to pass on as I gain the life experience of LV!
Last Saturday I was flying from New Orleans to Burlington, VT with a flight change in New York. Something seemed odd since the flight status said “Closed”. We did get on our flight, but midway we were re-routed to Boston where we landed instead due to a “hydraulics” problem. Fire trucks on the runway, a tow to the terminal, my first real emergency in many years of flying.
All was fine and during the 5 1/2 hour wait in a confined Boston terminal for a new plane, an angel entertained me with her stories. I don’t know her name, but she looked like she could be LV’s sister!
